What is Retail POS
Retail POS is the quick checkout counter for a storefront: scan a barcode, click checkout, and a retail sale is done with stock auto-deducted. Best for walk-in retail that doesn't need a formal sales order.

Confirm the cart and check out — an output bill is created and stock deducted

Checkout steps
Here is a step-by-step retail checkout.
Open Retail POS
Click ‘Retail POS’ in the left menu.
Pick the cashier
Select the staff handling this sale at the top, for performance tracking.
Scan or add products
Scan barcodes with a scanner, type a barcode, or click product cards on the right to add them to the cart.
Check the cart
Review items and quantities in the cart; edit qty or remove items. The total is calculated automatically.
(Optional) Print receipt
Click ‘Print’ to print a receipt for the customer.
Check out
Click ‘Checkout’ to finish. An output bill is generated and the products' stock is deducted automatically.
What happens after checkout?
- • The products' stock decreases automatically
- • An output bill is created and can be found in bill records
- • Counts toward ‘today's revenue’ and order count
Verify items and quantities before checkout; items without enough stock cannot be sold — the system shows ‘insufficient stock’.
