From Excel to Smart Middleware: My Digital Module Evolution Story
Last summer, I was squatting in the warehouse reconciling inventory manually on Excel when a customer complaint popped up. That moment I decided to build a real digital system from scratch. Last summer on the hottest day, I was squatting in a corner of the warehouse with a stack of outbound orders and a hot laptop. The numbers in the Excel spreadsheet never matched the actual inventory. My phone buzzed—a customer complaint that we had shipped the wrong three boxes. Sweat dripped onto the keyboard, and I thought: if this keeps up, the warehouse will collapse.
TL;DR That night, I decided to build the digital module of Shancang from scratch. From manual Excel reconciliation to automated WMS to the current smart middleware, it's been a full year of evolution.
